I am very happy wife and and grateful, Charlotte Mason addicted, history loving, homeschooling mom to four beautiful children. I believe education should foster creativity, critical thinking, and curiosity. I believe parenting should foster a love for God, God's Word, service and family. I also believe the day should start out with devotions, prayer and COFFEE. Feel free to join me as I chase my one year old, play Candyland with my preschooler, convince my 9 year old that saying "I don't remember" is not a positive, and convince my 11 year old that "yes one day you really will use this stuff." Believe it or not I can do all this while moving the dog out of the way, fold laundry, make dinner, and find my son's other shoe. Things are crazy, full of adventure and never boring. My life is not what I expected but it sure is more joyful than I could have imagined. Most importantly, all my blessings which come from victories and trials are a product of a loving God who gives unending mercy and grace to His imperfect children. Praise God for mercy...if I could wear it out I would have a long time ago.
