I'm a marketer by trade and a bit of a Renaissance gal to boot: I write, dabble in art, play guitar, pursue scientific interests (assuming watching MonsterQuest and UFO Hunters count), and hone my math skills (I keep my checkbook balanced and create and monitor my department budget!). I am a graduate of the University of West Georgia, and I work for Answers Systems Inc. In my spare time, I am the 2007-2008 Corporate Sponsorship Chair for the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life in my community. May 8, 2008, is the two-year anniversary of my official cancer diagnosis. I am in remission now and doing well. November 2008 will be my two-year anniversary of my first negative biopsy (funny how a good thing comes back under the term "negative).
