an outdoorsy carnival

Almost anything outside goes!

Description	¤	Each carnival will take place on or about the 1st of each month. Any posts about outdoor activities go, please submit your post within the appropriate category. If it fits into two categories, choose the best one. You may submit more than one post per carnival, but only if they are in different categories. There are six categories, for a maximum of six submissions/carnival. Sometimes I may change the category that you submitted it under to a different yet related category, particularly if there is one category that has no submissions. I PUT A LOT OF TIME INTO THIS CARNIVAL, PLEASE DO NOT WASTE MY TIME BY MAKING ME WEED OUT YOUR ONLINE MARKETING SPAM POSTS. POSTS THAT ARE NOT RELATED TO THE GREAT OUTDOORS WILL BE REJECTED. Posts on travel are OK as long as it is related to outdoors (rivers, lakes, gardens, etc). Photography posts are acceptable as long as they are photographs of the outdoors, flowers, outdoor animals, etc. Please restrict gardening and cooking posts to posts about outdoor gardens and cooking. Poetry and fictional stories about the outdoors, camping, nature, etc are perfectly acceptable. In fact, I enjoy them! Posts on business marketing and computer software will be rejected, unless of course, it is about the outdoors. Categories include: In the Woods (hiking, trails, camping, etc) Aquatic Life (swimming, boating, canoing, kayaking, waterfalls, lakes, photography of water, and so on) Green Thumb (lawn and garden, gardening, flowers, plants, veggies, photography of such, etc) Outdoor Olympians (running, biking, outdoor team sports) Advice Column (where you GIVE outdoorsy tips and advice, not where you ask for it) Open Air (If you are not sure where to file your post, use this category.)
